How to Reset Your Remoto Password
A step-by-step guide on resetting your Remoto password and regaining access to your account .
There are a few reasons that you might need to reset your Remoto password:
- You have forgotten your password
- You have locked yourself out of your Remoto account due to too many incorrect sign in attempts
- Due to security reasons you may be prompted to reset your password (current password expires a year after it was created)
- You simply want to reset your password
Here are the steps to follow to reset your password:
Step 1
Open the Playback app. At the login screen, click on “Forgot Password”.

Step 2
On the Forgot Password screen, enter your email address and click on “Reset”.

Step 3
Check your inbox for a Remoto email (subject: “Reset Code”) which contains a reset code.

Step 4
Enter the reset code from the email in the “Reset Code” field, and enter a new password, and confirm the new password.

Step 5
Click on “Reset Password”.
Once successful, you will be logged in using the new password and be presented with Playback's dashboard.
